Order and shipping

1. Where do you ship to?

We currently only ship to addresses in the UK.

2. Is VAT included in the price of my purchase?

All prices on the website are in British Pounds and are inclusive of VAT.

3. What are the TINCTURE shipping rates?

We only ship to addresses in the UK. There are 2 shipping options:
£3.50 for Standard delivery (within 2-5 days)
£5.95 for Next Working Day delivery (orders must be placed by 11am)

4. Will I need to sign for the delivery of my product?

All Next Working Day deliveries require a signature.

5. When can I expect to receive my order?

Standard deliveries will be sent by Royal Mail and will arrive within 2-5 days
Next Working Day deliveries are sent, tracked, by courier and will arrive the next working day for all orders placed before 11am.

6. What do I do if my order does not arrive?

7. What should I do if my order has been damaged in transit?

If your item has been damaged in transit, TINCTURE will provide you with a replacement item or full refund. Please contact our customer service team with your order number at: contact@tincturelondon.com 

8. Can I send an order to a country outside of the UK?

We currently only ship to addresses in the UK.

Products and ingredients

1. Are TINCTURE products safe to use during pregnancy?

To our knowledge there is no risk associated with using any of the TINCTURE products during pregnancy. Please follow our recommended directions for use that can be found in the base leaflet of each product as well as on the product page of the TINCTURE website. We recommended that you seek advice from your medical practitioner, obstetrician or dermatologist should you have any concerns regarding your circumstances. 

2. Do TINCTURE products have an expiry date?

Our products are 100% natural. The colour may vary and change over time. For best results use within 12 months of opening.

3. What is in the TINCTURE recipe of 100% natural essential oils?

The TINCTURE recipe is a unique blend of only natural, essential oils that have been included purely for their active properties to aid the performance of our products and enhance wellbeing. The active compounds of the oils used are listed on the ingredients page on the second page of the base leaflet on the bottle as well as on the product pages on the website. 4. Why do some TINCTURE products show a warning symbol?

TTINCTURE products have been carefully formulated and developed to ensure only the absolute essential and natural ingredients have been included without compromising on performance. Due to the inclusion of 100% natural oils we have to adhere to strict labeling regulations as per Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) and Detergent Regulation (EC) No 648/2004. These rules are far more stringent for products containing natural oils than those containing synthetic substances. Please follow the recommended directions for use that can be found in the base leaflet of the products and on the product pages of the website. 

5. Can I use TINCTURE products if I have sensitive skin?

TINCTURE has been carefully formulated to contain only the absolute essential ingredients that are 100% natural. Use products as directed to avoid any adverse reactions. Skin sensitivities can be unpredictable. If you have experienced a reaction from using TINCTURE products, we recommend you stop using immediately for one week to allow your skin to recover. If you are concerned or skin reactions and symptoms persist we recommend you consult your medical practitioner or dermatologist.

6. What if I have adverse reaction to a TINCTURE product?

All ingredients - no matter if they are natural or synthetic - have the potential to irritate. We advise you to discontinue using the product immediately and rinse the affected area with clean water. If you are concerned or the reaction and symptoms persist we recommend you consult your medical practitioner or dermatologist. Should any of the TINCTURE products come in to contact with eyes, flush immediately with clean water and seek medical attention. Do not ingest. 7. What is Silver Technology?

Silver has been used for hundreds of years as a way of preserving freshness, for example, keeping water fresh in silver jugs. Nowadays, this ancient knowledge of silver has been further researched to find many other benefits to using silver not only as a natural preservative to enhance freshness but also as an antimicrobial agent used for medical purposes. Most of the surfaces and paint in hospitals as well as some plasters, socks and deodorants incorporate Silver Technology to protect from harmful bacteria without causing resistant strains. The silver interferes with the metabolism of the bacteria and so preventing reproduction and spreading. TINCTURE has incorporated Silver Technology in the formula as an antimicrobial agent as well as in the bottle material. The inclusion of Silver Technology in the bottle material of all TINCTURE products ensures the packaging stays bacteria free at all times. 

8. Where can I see the full list of product ingredients?

Every TINCTURE product is labelled with a detailed ingredient list. You will find this information on the leaflet of every product as well as on the product pages on the website. The TINCTURE library further explains the reasons and benefits for including the chosen ingredients. 

9. How should I store my TINCTURE products?

The off-white TINCTURE bottle will protect the active ingredients in the formula from any harmful UV rays. For best results using TINCTURE we recommend storing the products out of direct sunlight. 

10. Are TINCTURE products suitable for vegans to use?

The only product in the TINCTURE range that is not suitable for vegans is the Furniture TINCTURE which is formulated with sustainable beeswax. All other TINCTURE products use 100% plant-based ingredients suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

1. Are TINCTURE products tested on animals?

TINCTURE does not condone the use of animal testing for any of its products. We are committed to acting in a responsible and accountable manner and do not commission any external parties to test our products on animals on our behalf. All products and ingredients are reviewed prior to use to ensure that the suppliers of the ingredients have also not conducted animal testing. 

2. How are TINCTURE products 100% natural?

The TINCTURE range is 100% natural; sustainably sourcing only the highest quality of plant based ingredients. TINCTURE products are inspired by the monastic practises of using herbs and plants for medicinal purposes of healing and cleansing. No perfume has been added, the smell of each product derives from the raw materials used in the formula to aid the performance of our products and enhance wellbeing. 

3. Is the TINCTURE packaging biodegradable or recyclable?

TINCTURE is passionate about ensuring a sustainable and environmental approach in all aspects. The formulations are sustainably sourced and biodegradable. The bottle is printed with reduced labelling and is fully recyclable. The natural rubber coloured band is biodegradable. Our shipping bags and tape are 100% recyclable and made out of paper. We also use biodegradable bubble wrap. 

4. Does TINCTURE use palm oil?

No products in the TINCTURE range contain palm oil.

The TINCTURE monthly newsletter shares information about new products, places, people, news, events, projects and journalism that inspires us. 2. Do I need a TINCTURE account to place an order?

You are not required to have an account to place an order, you can purchase any product as a guest. However, by creating an account this will allow you to move more swiftly through the check out system and save your personal details securely on our system.
